Skye is 4 years old, A2A2, 40.5” height, dehorned, registered with AMJA, AMJ3465P. Skye was born on Blue Mill Meadows, raised by her dam for over 6 months, then raised on pasture forage or hay without grain supplements.
She is bred to Blue Mill Meadows Silver, a very short, A2A2, dehorned bull, registered AMJ2453, born here on the farm (image below).
She recently weaned her bull calf and is producing about 1 1/4 gallon per day on forage only and some Chaffhaye (fermented alfalfa) at milking.
She is pleasant, leads and milks with ease.
Recently tested negative for Johnes and BVD.
Skye has had two calves - a heifer and then a bull calf.
